Musical instrument industry exports declined in 2016, import growth

    In 2016, the national musical instrument industry import and export totaled $1 billion 945 million, down 4.09%, of which exports amounted to 1 billion 571 million US dollars, down 7%; total imports amounted to 374 million US dollars, an increase of 10.43%; trade surplus of $1 billion 197 million.

    - Export analysis: in 2016, the national musical instrument industry totaled 1 billion 571 million US dollars, down 7% year on year. In the monthly export: 8 months, exports fell year-on-year, 4 months year-on-year growth. Of which: in January exports of $121 million, down 18.68% year-on-year decline; February 33.66%; March year-on-year growth of 22.39%; April exports fell 0.22% year-on-year growth of 3.16%; May; June fell 7.07%; July fell 8.35%; exports in August the most high of $173 million, an increase of 10.2%; exports in September amounted to 164 million US dollars, the 6.89% year-on-year decline; in October fell 3.31% in November; exports grew 8.48%; exports in December amounted to 132 million US dollars, down 9.05%.

    - Import analysis: in 2016, the national musical instrument industry completed a total of 373 million 827 thousand and 500 US dollars worth of imports, an increase of 10.43%. In monthly imports: year-on-year decline in January and July, while other months were up year on year. The January imports $22 million 889 thousand and 500, down 6.63%; February imports of $18 million 323 thousand, an increase of 13.08%; in March of $33 million 110 thousand and 600, an increase of 15.98%; in April of $29 million 57 thousand and 600, an increase of 2.49%; in May of $31 million 806 thousand and 800, an increase of 17.03%; in June of $35 million 961 thousand and 800, an increase of 24.22%; in July of $34 million 299 thousand and 500, down 1.12%; August 32 million 566 thousand and 500 dollars, an increase of 14.6%; in September of $34 million 966 thousand and 800, an increase of 7.84%; imports in October amounted to 33 million 457 thousand and 500 US dollars, an increase of 20.27%; imports in November amounted to 34 million 28 thousand and 700 US dollars, an increase of 9.56%; imports in December amounted to 34 million 988 thousand and 400 US dollars, an increase of 15.24%.
